Westfield Burwood, NSW

Overview

Westfield Burwood is centrally located within Sydney’s Inner West, approximately 12 kilometres from the CBD. Strategically positioned within easy reach of Burwood Railway Station on the bustling commercial strip, the centre caters to a trade area population in excess of 464,000 residents. ​ Home to some of Australia’s most well-known retailers, including David Jones, Kmart, Target, Coles and Woolworths, the centre also boasts an Event Cinemas complex as well as approximately 230 specialty stores.

On behalf of our valued client, Scentre Group, Colliers Retail Investment Services sold a 50% interest to a value of $575 million.

Kawana Shoppingworld, Queensland

Overview

Located in the growing region of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Kawana Shoppingworld is a dominant convenience and lifestyle centre. The centre incorporates Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Big W, 6 mini-majors and over 150 specialty stores. Construction has now completed in November 2018 to welcome an expanded dining and entertainment precinct, including the Sunshine Coast’s first Gold Class and VMax Event Cinemas experience. ​ In December 2017, Colliers Retail Investment Services sold a 50% interest to a value of $215.5 million on behalf of valued client, Mirvac Group.

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Victoria

Overview

Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre is a sub-regional centre anchored by Coles, Kmart, Target and Woolworths and Reading Cinemas and 133 speciality retailers. Located, 7km south west of the Geelong CBD, Colliers Retail Investment Services sold a 50% interest to a value of $145 million in July 2019 on behalf of valued client Australian Unity.

Coles Alderley, Queensland

Overview

Coles Alderley is a brand new, freestanding full-line Coles Supermarket incorporating a Liquorland, located 7km from Brisbane CBD in the affluent inner metropolitan Brisbane suburb of Alderley. Occupying a significant and strategic 12,514 square metre site, located 100 metres from the recently redeveloped Alderley Railway Station. Sold on behalf of our valued client Coles Property Development Group, Colliers Retail Investment Services sold the property for $30.2 million in December, 2018.
