After realising inefficiencies existed in their procurement of property services, the Government opted to streamline their processes and partner with service providers. After working collaboratively with Broadspectrum for 12 months, Colliers were appointed as a subcontractor to Broadspectrum for the delivery of key property services across the Commonwealth Government’s national portfolio.
The new Commonwealth Government account began on January 1 2018 progressively rolled out throughout 2018, with 32 entities onboard as of end of 2018. We recently transition a 33rd Govt entity, and a further four major entity appointments will commence progressively after the Federal Election through to late 2020.
We have successfully transitioned 33 government entities to date and delivered in excess of $80 million in savings to the Commonwealth, as well as undertaking more transactional services and market engagement than any of our competitors.
