Overview
Colliers International was appointed in June 2014 to provide development management and project management services for the $325million Mary Lane development at 111 Mary Street, Brisbane. Mary Lane is a unique, mixed-use development for the local market, comprising ground floor retail and dining, the Westin Hotel (occupying levels one to 16) and the Mary Lane Residences (occupying levels 17 to 36).
The Colliers team were appointed to provide development management and project management of the development as a result of their long-standing relationship with the client and the successful delivery of the nearby Four Points by Sheraton which opened in early 2014.
Following the purchase of the site in December 2014, Colliers International worked with the client to create the first Westin Hotel for Queensland. The team worked closely with the client throughout the entire project, from the initial site acquisition, DA approvals and design brief to the completion of construction, fitout and handover of the furnished hotel.
