These engagements seek to add value to owners investments on top of administering the broad range of ownership matters that regularly arise with hotels. As part of the value add service, Colliers International employ unique hotel room rate analytics to monitor and engage with hotel operators to assess daily the hotels room rate position and highlight opportunities for hotel operators to maximise rates compared to competitor hotels. For one newly opened Queensland hotel, the Colliers revenue analytics tool combined with regular weekly engagement with the hotel management team supported a 64% growth of revenue per available room compared to the hotels immediate competitor set. This was achieved in a five-month period in 2019.
